In the 1970’s, Spanish artist and designer Enric Majoral moved his family from Barcelona to the picturesque island of Formentera for a lifestyle surrounded by nature and the beauty of the Mediterranean Sea. From this small lovely world - with its light, color, shapes, cultural diversity and natural richness - he and his son, Roc, create jewelry with movement and artistry that takes on a life of its own. Lines and shapes are modern and deliberate, yet unexpected and organic. Their craftsmanship is remarkable and honest, reflecting the simple reality of life on a beautiful island. Formentera is in every piece of their jewelry, like a small piece of paradise that they share with those of us who wear their vibrant creations.
“For me, Formentera is a space of reconstruction and regeneration, of energy renewal. It is a source of inspiration. An evocative space.” — Enric Majoral
